When you search within one content area, the listed entries have the same format as the regular record list. When you search across several content areas, the results are brought into a uniform format: every content area has a main field that represents the record, such as the title, name or headline.
The area highlighted in yellow shows what was searched for. Clicking the small X on the far right resets the search criteria, and the complete list is shown again.
