Search forms
Every content area comes with its own search form. The search fields match the input fields, plus additional fields for researching background information (for example who last edited a record and when). To keep search forms uncluttered, fields can be hidden. So that editors can still use them, a list of the hidden fields appears below the submit button. Selecting a field there shows it again.
Text content can be searched for exact matches or with a wildcard (asterisk) for parts of the text, for example “a*”. Searches for greater than, less than, not equal and so on are always possible as well. For files, additional fields can be searched, such as file size, image width or type.
When you are looking for records that are linked to another record (for example to a section, a category or a keyword), a lookup field makes it easy to pick the linked content.
A full-text field covering all text fields is always included. This even lets you search across different content areas.
